Role: Accounts Assistant

Location : Stirling

Your new role

As an Accounts Assistant you'll support the Financial Accountant and Group Financial Controller in processing all aspects of Robertson Group Limited and other smaller group entities.

 

What you'll do:

  • Prepare Daily Bank Reconciliations
  • Assist in weekly cashflow forecasts
  • Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Post monthly journals
  • Responsibility of Fixed Asset Ledger and Deprecation postings
  • Monthly ledger reconciliations
  • Prepare and submit monthly CIS returns
  • Raise sales ledger invoices, posting of contract sales invoices and resolution of unallocated cash.
  • Check bank details prior to weekly payment runs
  • Collate information for PSA
  • Prepare monthly inter sector settlements
  • Assist in Quarterly VAT returns
  • Assist with monthly accruals & prepayments
  • Assist in audit
  • Other adhoc duties

About you

You will have Experience working within a finance department with good accounting knowledge. Relevant accounting qualification or Qualified by Experience. What’s just as important are strong communication, process and excel skills, an analytical approach and a genuine ability to set realistic objectives and solve key problems.
