This role will be working for Robertson Facilities Management based in Teesside University, Darlington.

Your new role

To provide excellent food service, preparation and hospitality throughout the  catering department.

  • Responsible for supporting the senior catering assistant with the day to day running of the kitchen. 
  • Support staff and apprentices when working in the catering outlet.
  • Ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation are maintained. 
  • To meet deadlines and targets. 
  • To maintain and conform to standards of hygiene and safety in accordance with current legislation. 
  • To ensure excellent customer service is adhered to and that all customer needs are met. 
  • To comply with all relevant policies and procedures. 
  • To attend training courses as required.

What's in it for me

  • Previous experience in busy kitchen is essential (preferably school catering)
  • Current and relevant food training certificates
  • The successful candidate will require a DBS Check

Hours of Work:  37.5 hours per week  Term Time Only
