IT Support Technician

Location: Stirling

We’re recruiting for a IT Support Technician who will work as an integral part of a fast paced IT team. You will support the business on technical issues and provide a high level of service to your internal customers.

Your new role

We’re recruiting for a IT Support Technician who will work as an integral part of a fast paced IT team. You will support the business on technical issues and provide a high level of service to your internal customers.

 

What you'll do:

  • Provision of 1st, 2nd and 3Rd Line support to Robertson employees both face to face and remote through IT Tickets that have been logged on the IT Service Desk
  • Assisting IT colleagues with IT Support and Projects to ensure optimal delivery of service
  • Ability to work without close supervision in accordance with company guidelines
  • Setup and Configuration of PC’s for New Starts etc
  • Ensure IT Asset Registers are kept up to date
  • Create and maintain IT policies and procedures as appropriate
  • Other relevant IT duties as assigned by the IT Management

  • Excellent attention to detail (essential)
  • Up to date knowledge of IT developments and Technology
  • Desktop support of Windows 10-11
  • Some experience of Active Directory
  • Networking and experience with Internet Routers and Firewalls, Cisco Meraki preferred (desirable)
  • Some knowledge or experience within Windows Server 2012-2016
  • Experience of providing remote, telephone or face to face support
  • Experience of PC Software builds / installations / rebuilds.
  • Microsoft Certification in Windows Operating systems and Office (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products, Office 365, Server infrastructure (desirable)
  • Full driving licence (essential)
  • An IT qualification or degree (desirable). Applications from recent graduate's welcome
