Senior Quantity Surveyor 

 

Location: Stirling

The complete Commercial control of all works associated with the delivery of Robertson Homes developments throughout the North East England. We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who is looking for progression to help continue to grow the business.

Your new role

Taking Commercial control of projects from site viability stage through to agreement of final accounts by undertaking all duties as per Robertson Homes Policies & Procedures manual which include (but not limited to):-

 

  • Assist with appraisal/ land bids process.
  • Produce cash flow forecasts as requested by the Head of Commercial
  • Produce interim and final budgets.
  • Mentor and develop those who directly report to you.
  • Be responsible for the projects of those who report to you.
  • Manage procurement of trade packages and oversee sub-contract ordering in conjunction with company procedures.
  • Production of monthly CVR Reports for your sites and provide key commercial data to the Head of Commercial for Board Paper and forecast production.
  • Produce and approve subcontract/partner payments, including monthly on-site measurement/assessment of progress.
  • Co-ordination with key stakeholders with establishing project delivery strategy and implementation.
  • Regular co-ordination and reporting to the Head of Commercial with all commercial aspects of the business.
  • Assist team with resolving key issues and disputes.
  • Attend and contribute to various meetings, such as pre-order meetings, valuation meetings and project review meetings with senior management, construction team as well as external contractors.
  • Implementation of group policy and procedures
  • Provide commercial risk profile and monitoring of Developments.
  • Contribute towards continual business improvement.
