Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Sedgefield Hospital - Mobile across various local sites

 

Contract: Full time, permanent

Hours: 38.75, Monday to Friday. Standard hours 8am to 4pm

On call rota: 1 in 4 week covering 24 hours. Working 9:45am to 6pm when on call - standby payment plus relevant hourly rate

Your new role

What you’ll do: 

  • Ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of the Project Agreement between RFM and Redcar and Cleveland Council.
  • Undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work either independently or as assistant to a maintenance tradesperson on:
    • Service and repair of lighting and power distribution systems.
    • Reactive repairs to all types of lighting systems and power distribution systems.
    • Service and repair of motors and pumps.
  • Competent on BMS control systems
  • Competent PAT tester
  • Undertake maintenance duties in such a manner as to support the objectives of the Client and with respect for the dignity and privacy of the resident group.

About you:

To be successful in your application, you will be a qualified Electrician with reasonable experience in a maintenance role within a commercial setting. City & Guilds or equivalent qualification required including 18th Edition. You will have experience in electrical power distribution systems, and preferred experience in electrical testing. Valid UK Driving Licence required. 

 

The successful candidate will require a DBS Check before starting in the job.
