    This role will be working for Robertson Facilities Management based at Teesside University - Darlington.

    As Catering Assistant, you’ll be responsible for:


    • Working in the kitchen on food preparation
    • General kitchen duties & working front of house serving customers
    • Setting hospitality rooms for functions & serving hospitality buffets
    • Maintaining and conforming to standards of hygiene and safety in accordance with current legislation
    • Providing excellent customer service is adhered to and all relevant policies and procedures are followed

    To join us, we’re looking for:

    • Experience of working in a catering or hospitality environment and good interpersonal skills as you will be dealing with members of the public and staff
    • A catering qualification is desirable although not essential

    The successful candidate will require a DBS/Disclosure Check.
