    This role is for Robertson Facilities Management based in Bolton.

    As Helpdesk Administrator, youll be responsible for:


    • To operate the helpdesk CAFM system, receiving and logging requests, and relaying information to relevant sub-contractors & engineers responsible for action.
    • Liaise with building users to ensure access for maintenance requests is granted. Follow each request through from receipt to completion, communicating with the end user to ensure the task is done to their satisfaction.
    • Follow up with sub-contractors to ensure that worksheet and statutory compliance paperwork is received in a timely manner and then stored on the CAFM system.
    • Reviewing invoices received from sub-contractors to ensure they are in line with agreed commercial terms and the values are then loaded on to the CAFM system.
    • Raise purchase orders for planned and reactive requests, and goods receive when the task has been completed satisfactorily.
    • Working closely with the Commercial Manager raise sales orders to the client to reflect work done in the relevant accounting period. 
    • To provide clerical and administrative support to the Management Team, including, word processing, filing, reception, telephone and general office duties, where necessary.
    • To contribute to the efficient and effective working of the Facilities Management function.
    • To operate at all times with safe working practices with due regard to Health and Safety regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, waste disposal, etc in accordance with legislative requirements and policies and procedures of RFM.
    • To monitor and log all accidents and incidents as appropriate.
    • The post holder will be required to maintain an awareness of RFM’s policies, procedures and objectives related to the successful delivery of the administration and helpdesk service.                                                                                   
    • To carry out any other duties assigned by the Management Team in connection with RFM’s operational requirements. 
    • Where appropriate post holders will work with colleagues and managers in the development of policies and procedures.
    • Post holders will adhere to local and Council wide policies and procedures.

    • An understanding of a helpdesk function, previous planning experience and to act on own initiative.  
    • Must have: good communication skills, good telephone manner, general understanding of databases, word processing, file management & the internet, a flexible approach will be required to work & time commitment.

    The successful candidate will require a DBS/Disclosure Check
