    This role will be working for Robertson Timber Engineering Ltd based in Elgin.

    As Foreman, you’ll be responsible for: 

    • Ensuring the day-to-day allocation of work to the all factory employees is clear and concise
    • Reviewing the work packages and work instructions and allocate the necessary resources to achieve the required completion dates and quality
    • Ensuring that the man-hour budgets set for the factory are achieved as well as the associated costs  
    • Organising and managing agreed resources to achieve required deadlines, highlighting any conflicts to the Production Manager
    • Ensuring that the factory space is planned efficiently and effectively
    • Reporting on all completed work
    • Attending meetings as and when required given suitable notice
    • Reporting any job-related problems/issues to Production Manager
    • Randomly inspecting work in progress to ensure that it meets with the requirements specified on the drawings and work instructions and the overall quality sought by the company
    • Assisting the Production Manager with preparing the weekly delivery programme
    • The day-to-day management of Health and Safety within your area of responsibility

    • Experience of working in a similar production environment with strong Quality, Health & Safety awareness
    • Excellent supervisory/foreman skills with the ability of distributing workload to staff in accordance to achieving production deadlines

    The working hours for this role are 39 hours per week (Late Shift 14:00 - 02:00).
