    As Operations Director, youll be responsible for:

     

    To provide leadership and direction on the operational procedures and project delivery to the regional businesses in order to drive cost efficiencies.

     

    To implement and refine processes and procedures to improve the profitability of the business.

     

    A primary function will include supporting and developing senior management in maintaining robust and effective management teams to lead the regional businesses throughout our operating areas.

     

    To lead the operational element of all preconstruction works and provide support to regional businesses from gateway submissions to project delivery.

     

    To lead the delivery and compliance of Health and Safety Environmental and Quality process and procedures for the group ensuring the maintaining of all statutory and industry requirements and standards

     

    To act and to ensure all those within your control act professionally to protect and maintain the good standing of the Company within the industry and its clients.

     

    To work in conjunction with the company MD and members of the Board in terms of issues that affect the operational effectiveness of the business.

    Main Duties:

    • Maintain regular contact with Senior Operational Management to ensure Management are motivated to achieve Company goals and each Business is utilising Robertson processes and procedures to deliver the required outcomes on all projects. 
    • Provide appropriate direction to senior HSE Management including monitoring all the aspects of HSE and attaining the continuous improvement ethos required. 
    • Manage the Quality aspects of the Business through providing leadership to the Quality Manager and ensuring all relevant accreditations and certifications are maintained. 
    • Provide and maintain clear process and procedures for planning, monitoring and reporting on programming for all projects throughout the Group. 
    • Retain ownership of all Robertson processes for the operational delivery of projects and ensure through Regional Businesses that this is maintained at all times. 
    • Provide leadership and management of core preconstruction resource including design management, planning and cost management for all projects. 
    • Attend tender finalisation meetings for projects. 
    • Provide support through reviewing and advising on all submissions relative to technical elements. 
    • Attend all project handover meetings and agree key deliverables for each project which will be monitored during the currency of the contract. 
    • Work in conjunction with the Development Director to prepare bid submissions as required. 
    • Attend monthly Director Meetings with the Regional Businesses. 
    • Support Partnership Homes in achieving its budget and business plan through provision of support and guidance to Management throughout the Group. 
    • Prepare and present monthly Board Reports on Operational elements of the Group. 
    • Attend monthly Performance Review meetings with Robertson Residential Group Board as required.
