    This role will be working for Robertson Timber Engineering Limited based either in Elgin or Stirling (depending on the successful candidate location).

    As Senior Quantity Surveyor you’ll be responsible for:  

    • Assisting the Timber Engineering division of Robertson Construction Group with the financial and contractual control of various projects
    • Ensuring compliance with RTE procedures
    • Preparing and sending out of Sub-contract enquires, managing the process to subcontractor appointments
    • Subcontract comparison and preparation of subcontract agreements
    • Attending, contributing to and taking minutes of meetings as required
    • Preparing Valuations with Client’s, agreeing amounts for payment and ensuring invoices are prepared and issued
    • Re-measuring work using site measurement and measurement from drawings
    • Re-measurement of subcontract applications and processing subcontract payments 

    To join us, we’re looking for: 

    • HNC/HND qualified in Quantity Surveying
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Methodical approach
    • Numerate
    • Ability to work on own initiative
    • Written and oral communication skills
    • Computer literacy
