    This role is for Robertson Timber Engineering based in Seaham covering 14.00 - 2.00 back shift.

    As Foreman, you’ll be responsible for:

     

    • Ensure the day-to-day allocation of work to the all factory employees is clear and concise.

    • Review the work packages and work instructions and allocate the necessary resources to achieve the required completion dates and quality.

    • Ensure that the man-hour budgets set for the factory are achieved as well as the associated costs.   

    • Organise and manage agreed resources to achieve required deadlines, highlighting any conflicts to the Production Manager.

    • Ensure that the factory space is planned efficiently and effectively. 

    • Report on all completed work.

    • Attend meetings timeously as and when required given suitable notice.

    • Report any job-related problems/issues to Production Manager.

    • Randomly inspect work in progress to ensure that it meets with the requirements specified on the drawings and work instructions and the overall quality sought by the company

    • Assist the Production Manager with preparing the weekly delivery programme.

    • Responsible for the day-to-day management of Health and Safety within your area of responsibility.
