The role is for Robertson Partnership Homes based in Stirling with travel to various sites.

As Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing the Construction Phase process for a range of Affordable Housing Projects
  • Ensuring efficiency of designs
  • Ensuring all statutory requirements are met and that the designs are compliant with the Contract Requirements
  • Working with a team and work on several projects or tenders at a time
  • Selecting and appointing appropriate design professionals
  • Creating and developing a partnership amongst the design and construction team and the client and any relevant statutory authorities
  • Managing the project design development through Pre-Construction concept and scheme design stages.
  • Monitoring the financial performance of affordable projects  
  • Assisting Development Director and Managing Director with Pre-Qualification questionnaires, presentations and tender interviews
  • Controlling interface of all design information between designers and specialist subcontractors

To join us, we’re looking for:



  • A Construction or Civil Engineering related degree
  • Significant management experience with major contractor/developer
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Certified in SMSTS via CITB
  • Competant in Health and Safety practice 
  • First aid trained
  • The ability to lead and manage a large team


  • A member of the CIOB, ICE or CEng.
  • The ability to build and develop relationship with all internal and external
  • Computer literate including use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Email
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Management of Budget Compilation
  • Good analytical & problem solving skills
  • Methodical approach to tasks undertaken
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to programme using ASTA Power Project or equivalent
