This role is working for Robertson Group Human Resources - Employee Relations based in Stirling. 

Your new role

As an HR Advisor, youll be responsible for:

  • Support the HR Manager and Head of HR in working closely with the businesses, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures and in line with best practice in people management.
  • Build effective working relationships with Senior Managers and Heads of Business across the Group.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders to support the implementation of the new HR system.
  • Review, develop and implement HR policies and update Staff Handbooks as appropriate. Ensure that policies are kept up to date on all relevant drives.
  • Provide professional advice, guidance and support to line managers on issues regarding employment contracts in accordance with current employment legislation and relevant terms and conditions of service.
  • Support line managers with sensitive and confidential issues such as attendance review meetings, performance management, grievance, disciplinary, restructures and redundancies and re-evaluation of posts, in accordance with both policies and procedures and best practice.
  • Manage TUPE programmes, including preparation, consultation and ensuring the relevant legislation is complied with, both at bid stage and throughout the process.  Work with trade unions and contract partners as appropriate at all stages of the process

  • Degree or equivalent
  • HR systems experience, preferably implementation
  • Chartered or Graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development or relevant qualification
  • Committed to CPD
  • Focused and highly motivated
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
