This role will be working for Robertson Partnership Homes based in Edinburgh.

As Managing Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing all Surveying staff to ensure compliance with company procedures

  • Ensuring all contracts achieve financial targets
  • Assisting in production of annual budget and monitoring results against it
  • Producing surveying reports as required
  • Carrying out cost/value investigations
  • Managing financial review process
  • Overseeing any contractual claims/contractual disputes
  • Approving sub-contractor appointments, in conjunction with company procedures
  • Bonds – check requirements and instigate
  • Developing site efficiency 
  • Reporting any contractual risk situations and mitigate them

To join us, we’re looking for: 


  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivelant
  • Senior Quantity Surveying experience with large regional Contractor
  • A member of the RICS
  • CSCS card holder
  • IT literacy including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Email
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Health & Safety knowledge 
  • Budget Compilation & Management
  • Analytical & problem solving skills
  • Ability to lead the construction and pre-construction teams
