Your new role

As Commercial Manager, you’ll be responsible for:


  • The complete Commercial control of all works associated with the delivery of Robertson Homes Limited developments in central Scotland.
  • Managing commercial responsibilities through appraisal/ land bids process.
  • Assisting Commercial Director with collating all CVR’s from the other Regional Commercial Managers.
  • Coordinating with key stakeholders with establishing project delivery strategy and implementation.
  • Leading and managing Pre & Post contract deliverables.
  • Managing and assisting team with resolving key issues and any disputes.
  • Managing and ensuring team comply with monthly commercial calendar and deadlines.
  • Establishing and maintaining Sub contract & Supplier Database.
  • Reviewing and approving payments to all sub-contractors and associated partners.
  • Producing cash flow forecasts as requested by Commercial & Finance Director.
  • Producing Procurement Schedule and strategy for developments.

  • Complimentary relevant industry work experience
  • Methodical approach
  • Numerate
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Good written and oral Commercial and Contractual communication skills
  • Keyboard Skills – computer literacy
