This role will be working for Robertson Facilities Management based at Chester le Street Hopital.

As Domestic Assistant, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Carry out routine and ad hoc domestic duties as required in support of the Trust’s clinical and administrative staff to ensure compliance with performance standards.  These duties include the cleaning of all patient and public areas
  • Adhere to the daily, weekly & monthly cleaning schedule
  • Respond to all helpdesk calls during working hours
  • Ensure the safe storage for all chemicals and domestic consumables
  • Provide adequate supplies of domestic consumables in the appropriate areas
  • Ensure the safe operation and cleanliness of all equipment used by RFM

To join us, we’re looking for: 

  • General experience of cleaning in a Commercial capacity
  • Good customer care skills
  • Able to exercise initiative and prioritise duties accordingly
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety best practises
  • Awareness of COSHH regulations

The successful candidate will require a DBS/Disclosure Check.

The working hours for this role are 10 per week (Monday to Friday 17:00 - 19:00)

 

Please note this is a Fixed Term position from 20th November 2017 until 30th April 2018.
