Robertson Homes are looking for a Project Engineer to join their team.

As Project Engineer, you’ll be responsible for: 

  • Obtaining and collating all pre-start information for internal issue prior to site start.
  • Liaising with Commercial Department and assisting with initial upload to document management system and thereafter maintain Engineering Section with current drawings.
  • Preparing site compound and sales centre levels and setting out plans to be included within relevant technical packs.
  • Registering new sites with energy provider.
  • Providing plot levels plans for use by sales as part of plot reservation procedure.
  • Obtaining Road Bonds.
  • Assisting in the CDM.
  • Liaising with Site & Sales Operatives, Consultant Engineer and Regulatory Authorities
  • Uploading all engineering information to the NHBC extranet and discharging conditions to allow plots to obtain CML in line with plot hand-over dates.
  • Providing the Engineering Manager with regular progress and reports on individual sites.
  • Identifying potential design improvements during the construction period of the development.
  • Adoption of roads, drainage, water and infrastructure at end of development. 

To join us, we’re looking for:

  • House building experience directly or within a Consultant Engineer environment.
  • Experience in design utilising AutoCAD, PDS and WinDES is essential as is HND or degree in an associated discipline.

  • Able to manage workload and prioritise either within a team environment or working alone.

  • Working time will be spent at Stirling, Elgin and Inverness offices so a willingness to be away from home is required.
