As Managing Surveyor, you’ll be responsible for:


  • Identifying, mitigating, managing and reporting on risks that may affect the business.
  • Providing leadership and direction to the commercial team. 
  • Inputting into the tendering process ensuring that commercial and contractual risks are identified. 
  • Ensuring all projects have been vetted from a commerical and contractual perspective.
  • Producing commercial and financial reports as required.
  • Carrying out regular cost/value investigations on projects.
  • Reviewing valuation analysis.
  • Having a full appreciation of Contract Insurance Requirements.
  • Arranging/approving sub-contractor appointments.
  • Producing finanical reports, ensuring appropriate cashflow forecast for each project.
  • Providing leadership in Health, Safety and Environmental issues, in particular on site.
