This role will be working for Robertson Facilities Management based at Winifred Holtby and Tweendykes Academy in Hull. 

Your new role

The post holder will ensure the school is provided with a clean, safe and secure environment through the provision of a responsive and efficient care-taking and site management services. They will also work as part of a flexible team providing a professional, comprehensive and high quality service to the client’s site. 

Key holding and security, maintenance and repairs to plant and equipment, lettings/after school activities, site cleaning, porterageIt is the responsibility of the individual to work in compliance with all current health and safety legislation and RFM’s Safety Policy and to attend any training requirements both statutory and mandatory in line with RFM’s responsibility to comply with the Health & Safety and Welfare at Work Act 1974.

The shift pattern for this post requires the post holder to be flexible in order to accommodate the requirements of the school.
The post holder will be required to maintain an awareness of all RFM’s policies, procedures and objectives related to the successful delivery of the domestic services.
The above duties may involve having access to information of a confidential nature, which may be covered by the Data Protection Act. Confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
The post holder must be flexible to ensure the operational needs of the business are met. This includes the undertaking of duties of a similar nature and responsibility as and when required, throughout the various work places on site.
The post holder is to show, at all times, a personal commitment to treating all customers and colleagues in a fair and respectful way, which gives positive regard to people’s differences and individuality (for example, their age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability or religion). They must also assist in ensuring equal access to services and employment opportunities for everyone.
Carry out Ad-hoc duties as required by the business.

WORKING HOURS: 37 hours per week (Early/Middle/Late shift in rotating shift pattern)
