This role will be working for Robertson Facilities Management based at New Craigs, Inverness.

Your new role

  • To ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of the Project Agreement between RFM and our clients. 
  • To undertake planned, responsive and cyclical maintenance work under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager. 
  • To undertake maintenance duties in such a manner as to support the health-care objectives of the client and with respect for the dignity and privacy of the patient group. 
  • To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment and tools. 
  • To operate at all times with safe working practices with due regard to Health and Safety Regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, Waste Disposal, etc in accordance with legislative requirements and policies and procedures of RFM. 
  • To maintain asset histories, maintenance records and help-desk reports, informing the Maintenance Manager of any follow up action that may be required. 
  • To take part in an on-call rota providing 24 hour, 365 day cover to the facilities. 
  • To carry out winter gritting and snow clearing duties as necessary as part of the RFM team. 
  • To report all accidents and incidents as appropriate. 
  • To provide support and assistance to other RFM personnel on site in the delivery of contracted services. 
  • The post-holder will be required to maintain an awareness of RFM’s polices, procedures and objectives related to the successful delivery of the maintenance service. 
  • To carry out any other duties assigned by the Management Team in connection with RFM’s operational requirements.

LOCATION: New Craigs, Inverness


HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 hours per week
