This role will be working for Robertson Facilities Management working across Central Scotland.

Responsibilities

The post holder will be required to work at various contracts in and around the Central area, the role will cover self delivery of PPM, Reactive and Small Works. Ensure that the PPM works are delivered in a timely fashion in line with the agreed PPM planner.  The post holder will also be expected to carry out repairs outside of their core trades.

To ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of various contracts.
 
To undertake planned, responsive and cyclical maintenance work as per the agreed client programme
 
To undertake maintenance duties in such a manner as to support the objectives of the client and with respect for the dignity and privacy of the client teams.
 
To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment and tools.
 
To operate at all times with safe working practices with due regard to Health and Safety Regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, Waste Disposal etc in accordance with legislative requirements and policies and procedures of RFM.
 
To maintain asset histories, maintenance records and help-desk reports, informing the RFM Contracts Manager or sub-contractors of any follow up action that may be required.
 
To report all accidents and incidents as appropriate.
 
The post holder will be required to maintain an awareness of RFM's policies, procedures and objectives related to the successful delivery of the maintenance service.
 
To carry out any other duties assigned by your line manager in connection with RFM’s operational requirements.
 

Qualifications

Time served Gas Engineer with minimum of 5years experience in installation and maintenance work, must be capable of being registered with Gas Safe.
Experience in electrical power distribution systems/ lighting systems.
Experience in commercial/industrial gas installations, as well as accreditation in domestic equipment and dwellings.
Health & Safety Certificate.
Post holder must hold a full current driving license and be willing to travel.
We would expect excellent Customer Care.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Ability to work safely at all times.
Ability to work within a team.

The successful candidate will require a DBS/Disclosure Check.

 

LOCATION: covering Central Scotland

 

WORKING HOURS: The working hours for this role are 40 +5 hours per week
