This  1 year fixed term Business Administration Apprenticeship will be working for Robertson Construction England based in Sheffield.

Your new role

  • This is an exciting opportunity to gain a recognised qualification and valuable work experience from a well-known employer in the construction industry.
  • The Apprentice Administrator will undertake Level 2/3 NVQ in Business and Administration whilst undertaking the following duties;
  • Undertaking a range of administrative tasks and provide support to the office manager and wider team
  • Receiving and distributing all incoming mail. Prepare and post all outgoing mail.
  • Reception duties, answering calls, transferring calls, taking messages
  • Document control and setting up new files accordingly
  • Monitoring and maintaining online document management system, uploading and downloading drawings
  • Assisting with bid submissions
  • Liaising with external suppliers and clients
  • Monitoring and ordering office supplies and stationery
  • Filing/ photocopying as required
  • Assisting with meetings set up and arranging refreshments
  • Typing and distribute minutes of Projects Meetings
  • Assisting with booking travel arrangements, events, meetings and arranging refreshments
  • Any other administrative duties as required

In order to be eligible for this Modern Apprenticeship, applicants must be aged between 16 and 19 years old.


Location: Sheffield


Duration: 1 Year Fixed Term Contract


Hours:  38.75 per week, Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm
