Your new role

Main Purpose of the Role 

 

To implement management objectives and achieve the key company goals by building and developing the company’s Sales & Marketing capabilities, as head of Sales. Development of policies, procedures and objectives for marketing and selling the companies products and services. Plan, organise and implement sales programs to meet the company budget requirements.  Responsible for achieving overall sales objectives.  Co-ordinate budgets, forecasts and reports on product and pricing trends to ensure profitability.

 

Key Performance Areas:

  • Development of policies, procedures and objectives for marketing and selling the companies products and services.
  • Oversee produce/service development, pricing, marketing budgets, and sales objectives.
  • Direct sales force, marketing staff and/or selling agents and consultants.
  • Develop, orchestrate and implement strategies to ensure the successful and efficient functionality of the sales department.
  • Planning, forecasting and controlling budgets and staffing requirements.
  • Supervisory functions include: interviewing, hiring, training employees, setting expectations, organisational development, performance management, succession planning, motivating, coaching, and problem resolution.
  • Building and improving an effective skills structure through training.
  • Establish marketing strategies to meet organisational objectives.
  • Evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing plan changes as needed.
  • Oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional staff, agencies and activities.
  • Provide marketing expertise to executive management team.

 

Duties: 

  • Propose and execute policies and programs to achieve maximum sales volume potential for products and/or services.
  • Liaise with the Regional Director and Managing Director to insure a controlled sales and build release in keeping with market conditions within budget requirements.
  • Schedule requirements for Sales Centres, Showhomes, Sign Boards, Sales literature, Agents display and instruct approved specialist contractors and implement inception in accordance with standard processes and with in budget.
  • Design and apply the sales strategy and sales plan.
  • Recruit, motivate, train and direct suitable calibre of staff within budget to maximise efficiency of Sales Department.
  • Develop good working relationship and communication between sales department and other disciplines.
  • Ability to maintain organisation objectives, manage and make sound decisions in a fast paced environment.
  • To ensure sales staff implement company Health & Safety procedures on site.
  • Maintain accurate cost to complete information.
  • To provide regular reports and updates to Regional Directors and Executive Director.
